The winner of the 4th edition of the IADR Karring – Nyman Sunstar Guidor Award has been announced.
This year, the prize has been awarded to Dr. Nagy Pál from the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary for his project “Comparison of the guided tissue regeneration procedure alone and in combination with early orthodontic tooth movement in the treatment of non-containing and wide intrabony periodontal defects: a prospective, randomized controlled clinical study”.

The IADR Karring – Nyman Sunstar Guidor Award, sponsored by the Sunstar Foundation, was offered for the first time in 2017 through the IADR Periodontal Research Group. A doctoral student or post-doctoral scientist is awarded a prize of 10,000 Euros to pursue research within the field of oral tissue regeneration.
